Important Update: Moving to a new, reliable file hosting service

Dear Friends,

We regret to inform you that we are ending our 10-year partnership with Turbobit. Unfortunately, since the spring of this year, their support team has stopped responding to us and fulfilling their obligations.

We are concerned about the safety of our file collection, as there are no guarantees that their servers will continue to operate stably. That is exactly why, for the past three months, we have persistently urged you not to purchase long-term Premium access on Turbobit — we wanted to protect you from unnecessary expenses in this unstable situation.

To ensure you don’t lose access to your favorite content, we are moving to our own file hosting service — DownUp.Space.

Smooth Start: Until the New Year, we will continue to mirror new files to Turbobit so you have time to adjust. Links to these files will be visible to logged-in users on our site.

Full Migration: Over the coming year, we plan to transfer all older content from Turbobit to DownUp.Space.

We hope you will enjoy our new service. Thank you for staying with us and for your continued support!

P.S. Please feel free to share your experience with the new file host in the comments under this or any other post — we will consider all your suggestions. We are also adding a feature that will allow you to request a re-upload for specific posts. Gradually, we will replace all Turbobit links with DownUp.Space links.

No! This is bad news :( Downup.space doesn't support downloading in the likes of jdownloader.

We'll see what it is and whether it can be implemented.

You can find links to turbobit files under description and over buttons.

Unfortunately, the new file-hosting site isn’t supported by any debrid services. I’ve appreciated the many years of reliable service, but it looks like I’ll need to look elsewhere for my downloads.

I have checked three different browsers, and on each the download page for something on DownUP does not have a scroll bar, which means I cannot scroll down to get to the actual download buttons.

See https://imgur.com/a/IxhOyuy for an example: the bottom of that image is the bottom of what I can see on the page.

I had to make the page fit by making it smaller pressing ctrl and -

So, the other week, I renewed my Turbobit a/c for 6 more months.

Cheers

A month after we stop supporting Turbobit, please create a ticket(downup ticket system), indicating the email address you used to purchase and the approximate date.

It would be great if you could reset the entire visible window area. Thank you, we realized this window needs to be made a little smaller blush

I have registered in your site only to leave this message. HORRIBLE decision. Not only Turbobit has worked consistently well for me, but also you have not taken into consideration that many users have premium accounts already paid for. Moreover, the hostage service you have chosen could not be worst. Difficult to access (even for registered users), awful interface, lacking support for downloaders, unreasonable waiting periods unless you are premium user, etc. I think they tick all the boxes of issues you DO NOT want in a hostage provider. VERY BAD decision.

Sincerely

Nicolobo

Yes, but this feature will only be available until new year....

Turbobit has stopped working with webmasters. They've stopped paying them, as I've reported since spring of this year. Webmasters are leaving them en masse, and it's only a matter of time before they will cease to exist. The last thing we wanted was to leave them, leaving terabytes of data on their servers.

I have had no trouble with Turbobit. Interesting that, up to the time of my commenting, that there are no positive comments about the dropping of Turbobit; only negative comments.

Thank you for your service and site though. I have been exposed to many great magazines!!

We really liked Turbobit ourselves and would have loved to continue working with them. However, numerous attempts to contact them were unsuccessful. They simply didn't respond.

Thank you for staying with us; we will do our best to keep improving the service!

Thanks for your reply.

I guess it's different on your "business" side of things as compared to us who just download.

Keep up the good service.

As a side : do you know of any site that does books, as this one does magazines?

no turbobit :-(

I did as you instructed, included a screenshot with my Turbo account too, just in case

I can understand your motivation why you discontinue turbobit, but do you think a sharehoster from Hong Kong, founded six weeks ago on Oct 28, 2025 (according to HK Companies Directory) is better than Vietnam-based turbobit? Or did you yourself founded downup.space?

I will not create a premium account there because

a) it's Hong Kong (=Chinese) based
b) it's too new
c) nobody knows it
d) nobody knows about it
e) it's much more expensive than turbobit
f) it does not support jDownloader
g) unknown account numbers, no reviews etc.

There are enough sources for pdf on the internet, I used downmagaz.net only for comfort, everything at one place, a sharehoster I never experienced any problems with.

I understand this decision but christ it's bad!

Can you guys not use a free hosting service for temporary links and use the downup.space for more permanent links?

Gofile.io, Files.fm, Buzzheavier and Pixeldrian are great alternatives for temporary links, Gofile.io even keep links actives for as long as they are being used so in theory would stay up for sometime.

I renewed my Turbo access till 01.12.2026!!!!! A whole year left !!!! What can  i do?

Where it is not available, you need to log in to the site using the same login/password.

Then please consider hosting in a different service, the one you've chosen is by far one of the most unusables I've found in my life (and I'm 56, I've seen a lot, believe me...). Nitroflare, Pixeldrain, even Rapidgator is better than this awful one.

Agreed. Rapidgator is preferable: It's been around for a while and is still going strong. (And I am 59!)

Hi,

I may be being stupid, sorry, but can someone clearly explain what those of us who have Turbobit premium accounts need to do as to not have any issues? I fully understand the issues of Turbobit, I renewed my subscription and then got conned out the extra days that came with an offer code they sent me :(

I get the stage of registering on DownUp.Space, but what do I need to do then? Do I just send a ticket proving I have a Turbobit premium account? What happens then?

Thanks :)

Roger That, thank you for the repeated clarification, will do, on the first of February LOL

No! This is bad news :( Downup.space doesn't support downloading in the likes of jdownloader.

It's the other way around...  It's JDownloader that supports the file site (or not).  The file sharing sites can do things to make it easier, but it's not necessarily required.  e.g. Do you think youtube bothers to support JDownloader?  They might, but I doubt it - yet if you copy a youtube URL it's added to JDownloader, because it's simply downloading a file from their servers.  So I'm sure JDownloader will support the new site if someone simply brings it to their attention.

I'm more concerned whether there will be a free download option.  I can't afford the high premium cost of the current two filesharing sites just to update a few new issues each month, so I'm content to add them to JDownloader and download one file at a time while I'm doing other things online.  (I don't care if it takes a month to get the latest issues.)

So before I just now saw what the new site premium fees will be, I was going to suggest there must be tens of thousands of people like me and a few "premiums."  So a small yearly membership fee of say $5 or $10, that everyone has to pay to gain access, might result in more profit than the many fewer premium people.

i.e. EVERYONE pays a minimum yearly amount, gets a login username/password, they copy the file URLs which JDownloader automatically adds to its download list, because the site is now just a simple FTP site.  You also get to download at full speed (while the downmagz webpages can still look however they want).

I think everyone paying a small yearly fee might bring more $ in than the "few" premium members.

I am not pleased with this new change one bit. I have been using Turbobit here for years without any issues.  My TB account is good for 10 months from now. Please keep Turbobit.

Here again is why I think surely a small yearly fee from thousands of people would bring more $ in, than a higher fee from the much-fewer premium members.  Especially as there are still other sites to download magazine PDFs (though they're not as convenient).

I considered paying for a debrid site a few times but couldn't justify their cost to download the few latest magazine s released each month.  (Instead of paying them, I may as well login to a free library account and CTRL + P to "print to PDF" each page, then type a DOS command to join the separate pages into one larger PDF magazine - and get it for free.  Yes it takes 20-30 minutes per magazine, but it's only your few/several favorite magazines per month.  Of course the beauty of downmagz is that is already done for us.  Anyway... everything else (movies, OS downloads, etc) I find using a search engine or torrent site.  So I see debrid sites as an unnecessary step.  Maybe you have other uses for debrid than just PDF magazines though.
