Australian colonies, end of 19th century. Since the landing of Captain James Cook in April 1770, the course of time has accelerated on the island continent. The colonizing power never ceases to appropriate and subject endless territories to its laws, denying the right of existence to its original inhabitants who have lived in the rhythm of the Dream for tens of thousands of years. The waves of migrants arrive in perpetual motion. Down Under. A comic by Nathalie Sergeef and Fabio Pezzi.
Having freshly landed in New South Wales, Lonan O'Farrell, young orphan torn from his native Ireland, decides to escape the unenviable fate reserved for him. His path crosses that of two adventurers : Ian McFarlane, the son of Scottish migrants, himself facing dark manoeuvers from powerful stockbreeders, and Allambee, native son of the people here. Following a series of tragic events, the trio is forced to flee into the heart of the Outback, whose harshness is matched only by its splendour. Their destiny will be part of the ochre earth.
