One more (last) question: for some weeks now, Cloudflare 'security' check been very slow & intrusive and not only happens EVERY time I access site, but even when I move between sections or even re-visit within same session (& IP etc.). Any ideas? No response from them

Yes, they complain about the cloudflyer, we tried to disable it and we almost immediately received a ddos. We think how to simplify access to our site. Do you use one or more vpn services at the same time?

Although I do have vpn installed (funnily enough because persistent IP errors when trying to use Turbobit) I never use them simultaneously and get the same messages/delays when connecting directly, I use Hotspot shield & Proton

Having got past messages on main site, will still get them if I visit de., world., etc. sites; sometimes is I just open new tab for specific section, e.g. cars & moto. Messages also get repeated if I re-visit site after period of say ~1hr - even if session / IP etc the same

Probably unrelated but also get more captcha 'errors' (i.e. I'm bloody RIGHT) on turbobit than not just all other hosts, but all other captchas on all other sites of any other kind put together

Thanks for the detailed answer. We disabled the "under attack" mod over the weekend. But on Monday we were already being DDoSed... = /
