A TURBULENT TRIBUTE TO ROAD MOVIES AND ITALIAN CINEMA OF THE SIXTIES.
In the early 60s, after the death of their father, two brothers, Fabio and Giovanni, are returning home for the funeral in their Fiat 500. Their journey, punctuated with bitter arguments and long silences, memories and encounters, will take them back to their native Italy, where Fabio has not been for years. We learn, piece by piece, about their father, and about the stormy relationships they had with their family, and how fascism divided them.
