Linux Journal is a monthly technology magazine published by Belltown Media, Inc. of Houston, Texas. The magazine focuses specifically on Linux, allowing the content to be a highly specialized source of information for open source enthusiasts.
Linux Journal was the first magazine to be published about the Linux operating system. The first issue was published in March of 1994 by Phil Hughes and Bob Young, co-founder of Red Hat, and featured an interview with Linux creator Linus Torvalds.
